Many hands make light the task. Isn't that the saying? We couldn't very well let the bus remain stuck in a rut on the beach! Our food, although abundant, would eventually run out and there were no stores for well over 100 kilometres. So, cheerfully and with great enthusiasm, we heaved and heaved and we pushed the beast out of it's sunken stupor.
