These men were sitting around on the sidewalk, watching passersby. As I walked by, I paused to smile and then engaged them in conversation. I found out as I talked to them that they were not working and couldn't find work as it was August and everything shuts down in the summertime. They seemed to be indifferent to their status as unemployed and content to relax and watch the day pass by.
